$1.8 Million Cell Phone Warehouse Burglary: Norcorss GA

During the late evening hours of Sunday, 10/23/11 on into the morning hours of Monday, 10/24/11, at least 4 suspects gained entry into a cell phone distributor’s warehouse by gaining entry into a utility room from a neighboring business and busting through the concrete wall. Video review shows that at least one of the suspects is wearing Easton Batting Gloves and the suspects eventually pushed the cameras upwards and disabled the cell phone distributor’s security system. There were a total of 8,264 various phones valued at $1,789,980.62 were stolen in the burglary. Over the past year there have been at least two other documented Burglaries in the Norcross, GA, which consisted of $277,000.00 and approximately $500,000.00 in computer components stolen. Evidence indicates the incidents have a connect with South Florida cargo theft gangs.
