On the morning of November 5, video games worth more than €700,000, were stolen during two almost simultaneously robberies in the Paris region. The first incident took place in Créteil, where the cargo thieves intentionally hit a truck loaded with video games worth €400,000, once the drivers stopped and stepped out of the trailer to check what had happened, immediately they were encountered with two masked and armed individuals who threw tear gas at them and fled the scene with the truck. An hour later, at around 8:30 in Mantes-la-Ville, a second trailer loaded with video games worth around €300,000 was forced to stop by a vehicle blocking the road, once the truck stopped, three armed men appeared and threaten the driver at gunpoint, forcing him to leave the trailer.
