On Saturday May 12, police captured eight cargo thieves after hijacking a truck loaded with gravel in the outskirts of Puebla city. The owner of the truck alerted authorities after finding out the truck was being deviated from its original route. Police started searching the area, located the truck and captured four thieves who led police to a garage where they used to dismantled trucks and  make fake or altered license plates. The remaining four thieves were captured at the garage. According to police, it was the same garage where stolen merchandise, weapons and several loads of synthetic drugs were confiscated two years ago.
