Serious traffic disruptions should be expected in Jakarta, Indonesia on April 25, 2012. Widespread power outages have caused inoperable traffic lights throughout the city.  The Soekamo-Hatta International Airport was also closed for one hour before a backup generator restored power. Business disruptions are widespread in the city as many businesses do not have power. By the evening of the 25th, power supplies are expected to return to normal. Until then, travelers will experience serious traffic delays in the metro area.
