The state of New South Wales in Australia has suffered severe flooding in over 75% of the state with the northernmost regions being the least affected. The flooding is expected to continue through Monday, March 5th. The Warragamba Dam, located about 40 miles west of Sydney, is over 95% full and could overflow within the next day. If the dam overflows, bridges in the far west of Sydney including the Yarramundi, Windsor, and North Richmond Bridges will close. Several areas have been evacuated and some are on evacuation standby including Eastgrove and Cooma.
