 A shootout has been reported today, March 1, in Nuevo Laredo streets. The Mexican Army advices carriers operating in Nuevo Laredo to stay inside yards to prevent getting trapped in the middle of shootouts. Carriers are also urged to avoid traveling along the Mexico Federal Highway 2. Supposedly, criminals have been throwing sharp metallic objects and nails in the middle of the streets in order to blowout the tires of 18-wheeler trucks.
