Command and Control Center

Command & Control CenterThe FreightWatch Command & Control Center is a state-of-the-art 24 x 7 operation designed for monitoring ground shipments from origin through to destination ensuring the shipment is secure every step of the way. FreightWatch Command and Control Center Representatives combined with FreightWatch's industry leading technology tie each aspect of logistics security together, providing a point-to-point "Electronic Escort."

Real-Time Cargo Monitoring "Electronic Escort"

The Command and Control Center actively monitors shipments ensuring that drivers comply with the shipper's

standards of care. Within seconds of a shipment deviating from a predetermined security plan the command and control center will be notified via an alert and immediately investigate the situation.

Typical Alert Situations:

  • Deviation from the identified route
  • Unauthorized stops
  • Start or stop without notification
  • Unauthorized or early departure
  • Stopping in an unauthorized location
  • Shipment departing without prior notification
  • Delivery at consignee

If an exception occurs, the Command and Control Center follows a set escalation protocol to resolve the issue

quickly, and will escalate to the shipper if resolution is not immediately reached. FreightWatch's trained staff will serve as the coordinator between the shipper, carrier, and law enforcement in the event of a theft, keeping all parties up to date on the shipment's status and providing critical details as to the shipment's location for a quick and full recovery.

Geo-Routing

FreightWatch will work with the shipper and its carriers to establish the routes from origin to destination, and then set geo-routes-a virtual fence around each route-so that if a load is off course, the Command and Control Center is immediately notified and resolution protocols begin.

Shipment Coordination

The Command and Control Center serves as the final check on your shipment's data to ensure all pertinent information is collected, including the destination, tractor-trailer and driver details. Discrepancies will be immediately resolved through escalation protocols.
